About

Vincent Truitner is a fine artist and a digital character animator whose work appears in over twenty feature films, from the 1999 animated classic "The Iron Giant" to 2017's "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Over his twenty year film career he has been a part of two Academy Award winning Visual Effects crews and has worked at nearly every major visual effects studio. Vincent first learned the art of bringing digital characters to life at Pixar Animation Studios. He is an alumni of Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration.

As a resident artist of The Beaumont Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia, Vincent has sold and exhibited work in shows and galleries in Vancouver and Los Angeles, California. He combines his extensive experience in traditional art and animation to create haunting images that merge the beautiful with the macabre, often with a twist of humor. His influences include Art Nouveau, the Pre-Raphaelites, and modern lowbrow art and pop surrealism. Visitors are welcome to stop by his studio, where it is "always Halloween."
